This project celebrates the relationship and legacy of this iconic rock and artist couple. The design uses images of John Lennon and Yoko Ono and combines these images next to lyrics of Beatle’s song “the Ballad of John and Yoko”. The Layout is fully black and white, but adds pops of red/orange blush on the two figures. This blush adds an romantic flush to the couple, and emphasis to some of their accomplishments as pop cultural figures. The Serif font is inspired by the Beatle’s logo, and maintains a classic design aesthetic. The design additionally uses simple thin lines on the margins of the pages.
